Inspired by an article in the New Zealand Hearld, this work endeavors to visualise data in such a way that maximizes its potential, its impact and tells a story in a clear, concise manner.
The pile on the left represents homes urgently required for New Zealanders on the housing New Zealand 'Priority A' waiting list in 2007. The pile on the right represents the same statistic in 2014.
This work was exhibited in the housing section of the EA Arts festival, at The Cloud, Auckland in 2017.
