Created during a residency at Cassis AIR in France (2019–2020), this series began as sculptural compositions using natural and man-made materials found on daily walks.

What at first appears synthetic and artificial gradually reveals a deeper reflection on our behaviour in the Anthropocene. Natural elements are placed alongside discarded synthetic fragments, highlighting the transience of our relationship with the environment and the permanence of what we leave behind.
